uy two lavish dinners yan 15k and 20k Bobby Van's and Le Cirque whatever those places are, LOL

hindi pa alam kung sinong nagtreat, pasa pasa, kung para sa tao ang ginastusan nila hindi magkandamayaw sa credit, ngayon hindi alam kung kanino ipapa ako, haha! Suarez took the fall i heard. well, these people can't just say it was a treat! if i were actually using my brain i would turn a lavish dinner down to think millions of filipinos cannot even afford to eat TUYO!

It is not ethical, it is like washing dirty linens outside, mga walang hiya talaga.

if the house of representatives would only shut up and start acting and respecting the rule of law, they would enforce it. Public Officials are forbidden to receive gifts kahit na pasko, birthday, whatever, kahit na nga immediate family up to 3rd civil degree ng politicians bawal bigyan ng regalong expensive or too significant, treat or gift, same difference...ano pag claseng significance ang hinihintay niyo?

i am not a lawyer but i know criminal law, tanga ba ang members of house of representatives o nagtatanga tangahan. cowards

Just another lunch break at the White House: President Obama today zipped down to the Five Guys burger joint near Nationals Park -- just him, a couple aides, a motorcade's worth of security, the traveling press pool, Brian Williams, and the NBC camera crew that just happened to be trailing him today for a "day-in-the-life" documentary about POTUS.

The president, in shirtsleeves, shelled out at least $80 in cash, according to press-pool observers, to get sandwiches for his entourage and the crew -- including a burger with ketchup and fries for Williams, a cheeseburger with jalapeno, lettuce, mustard and tomato for himself. Chit-chatted with fellow customers, got a group photo with the restaurant staff, took his order out in two large paper bags to go. It's his second burger lunch in recent weeks -- Obama and Joe Biden ventured to Ray's Hell Burger in Arlington. Michelle Obama also visited another Five Guys in D.C. earlier this year.

ARLINGTON, Va. — A group of about 100 people lined up at the corner of Quinn and Wilson Blvd., across the street from the small strip mall that is home to Ray's Hell Burger.

The man they were waiting to see emerged at 1:06 p.m. after dining with Vice President Joe Biden and won cheers from those in the crowd that could see him. Wearing white shirt-sleeves, President Barack Obama stood up on what appeared to be a car and waved.

The crowd cheered and clapped loudly and one person called for a speech.

But Obama was in his limo, and the motorcade was moving at 1:08 p.m.

Michael Landrum, the burger joint's owner, was ecstatic after the visit, calling it "one of the greatest days of my life."

"I guess he was missing some good food from Chicago," Landrum quipped.

The initial reaction of the other customers: "Madness," he said.

But eventually the crowd settled down and left Obama and Biden to their cheeseburgers, which they ate on a spare table with condiments and a paper towel roll just under the period horror movie posters that line the wall.

Obama purchased burgers not only for himself and Biden, but also for several members of the press pool that tailed him to lunch across the Potomac. Cheeseburgers at Ray's retail at $7.95, and Obama deposited a $5 bill in the tip jar.

With their lunches in hand, Obama and sat atop stools, like most of the other customers.

A few of those customers remained in the small, burgers-only joint to savor the moment and finish their meal after Obama left.

"I had lunch with the president," exclaimed Robert Gooch to nobody in particular.

A D.C.-area native, Gooch said he had never seen a president before.

Another customer proudly showed off the cell phone camera shot he took of the jacket-less Obama and Biden chowing down together.
