My Pinoy - Social Network

Napanood to ko sa tv (I forgot when) sa book launching ni JDV (Jose De Venecia), Cory made a statement saying sorry to ERAP for her joining the uprising (EDSA II) that causes the former Presidents demise. I don't like Cory (saying it bluntly) and never will, and on her statement lalo ko siyang hindi nagustuhan. It's politics.. whatever you say will reflect on your personality.. and it shows that Cory is weak. Conscience? Kailan nagkaroon ng konsensya ang isang politiko? Wala talaga siyang alam and she never should have been our President in the 1st place (strong words.. hehehehe!). She could have said sorry to him privately then tapos na. To think that she said it on national tv is like naghuhugas kamay siya. On the other side.. I hope she recovers from her sickness (cancer).

Violent reactions... anyone?

Cory is now a private person; whatever she says is her opinion and no one should criticize her for that.

If you don't like what she says, either ignore it or don't vote for her.

BTW, Erap is still alive and definitely Cory had no hand in his demise.

Walang sorry! sorry! Dapaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!! hehehehe....

Cory Aquino said: "I am one of those who feels guilty for the 2001 [Edsa Dos]....Lahat naman tayo nagkakamali, patawarin mo na lang ako."

These were uttered in her impromptu speech during the launch of the book, Global Filipino: The Authorized Biography of Jose de Venecia Jr.

Personally, this statement is an act of courage, just when were we ever happy to admit our mistakes? It takes a lot of courage to swallow our pride and admit we have made a mistake even to ourselves, how much more to make it on public television. What she did was not an act or a sign of weakness. It takes great courage to admit one has failed and it takes great strength to risk rejection and shield oneself from people’s I TOLD YOU SO lashings.

I never liked Corazon Aquino as president, I have always found the Marcos regime interesting and I am not a fan of her husband as well, he was dying anyway, he just chose his death, die a hero or die of cancer (libel? haha)…perhaps Cory could stage her assassination too and next thing we know Kris Aquino is our president, haha! Filipinos awe me, Pilipino ako, and yes, I am amazing,, haha!

ahy kuya,,,let's not forget Gloria Arroyo, and her famous I AM SORRY on television regarding the Garci tapes...

let's not forget Bill Clinton, on the Monica Lewinsky case either... haha!

and recently president elect of USA Obama apologized to former first lady Nancy Reagan regarding his comment on "seances" in the white house seat.

Subalit dapatpwat ngunit...it is a gesture so sincere that it makes you want to kiss her feet..ahaha!

tita jelle...san nagpasorry si tita Glo? ang pagkakaalam ko nagsabi sya ng "I AM SORRY" pero wala naman syang sinabi kung bakit sya nagpapasorry...

nononono, lolo Eric,,,, I, JELLE am SORRY for misleading the readers of this forum...i would like to reiterate, i am not weak for saying I am sorry, haha! it was a brainological error.. lol

she said I am sorry regarding the ZTE Deal, during the heated arguments regarding the authenticity of the Garci Tapes,
i do not know if all Philippine channels broadcasted it simultaneously though, but she said it in slow
motion....I.....AM....SORRY....as if the pauses would make her look sincere... haha! i wanted to throw myself at the television screen when i saw that, i feel my eyes zooming in on her mole or is that a wart and i was very tempted to snatch it off her face..just to hurt her...haha! i don't hate her, i just don't like her...haha!

I never really liked politics.. Madumi kasi ang palakaran. Active lang ang karamihan, let's say about 99.9%, kapag malapit na eleksyon. Ipinamumukha nila yung mga projects nila nung sila ang nanunungkulan pero kung iisipin mo it's their duty to do those things, kaya nga natin sila ibinoto.

We always hear them say "Kapag ako ang ibinoto nyo gagawin ko ito.. yung ganyan.." and the likes. Nagiging matalino na ang mga Pinoy about our political system pero syempre madaling pasunurin ang tao kapag nababayaran. But Influential people like her, sad to say influential sya.. but it's true, can change the Philippines future.. OUR future, just like what happened last 2001, EDSA 2. Now yung mga kakampi ng Presidente NYO ngayon (LOL!, teka.. baka ma-libel ako!) kumakalaban na rin sa kanya but sad to say she really has a strong grip on her seat of power.

All of you commended her for her sincere apology.. maybe I wasn't looking at it as the same way. But still for me politicians like her should have firm belief on what they fought for.. yung may paninindigan. Not doing one thing and saying sorry afterwards. HINDI LARO ANG POLITIKANG PILIPINO or any politics for that matter.

May point si kuya Franz74 (tama bang tawaging kuya? hehehe!) Hindi lang dapat kay Erap sya nag-sorry kundi sa Filipino people as well.

... I was just thinking... Kung buhay pa kaya si Cardinal Sin would he say SORRY also to Erap just like what Cory did?...
Just a thought....

i never really liked politics myself, i have witnessed how it has crippled my mother and brought a rift in our families, i just don't hate it, i loathe it, haha! i have been taught to be patriotic, i love my country, and it breaks my heart to see her in the rut, it breaks my heart even more that those (leaders) who should lift her up from the rut are mocking her even more with their actions.

it is not just about the leaders, however, ang problema kasi, we always blame the leaders, we should want change, tayo mismo, satin magsisimula,, i have always been an advocate of transformation,, nakakapagod, kasi mahirap kausap ang mga pinoy.. nakakastress, and it is not even worth the effort, for people don't even appreciate the effort...nakakalokang lumaki ng maprinsipyo sa bansa natin..nakakalungkot pero yun ang totoo...

the problem with us is, puro tayo sisi! blame this blame that...blame never does solve anything...it is not the solution,,,

i never took part in any of the rallies on the streets, because i do not consider it the right venue to exercise my right. puro kasi tayo, what i deserve, what i need, what my rights are,,,hindi natin naiisip, ano ba ang duty ko? ano ang obligation ko? ano ang magagawa ko? puro demand, walang gawa...it is not the politics that ails us, it is the values, and the customs we have adopted as our own...like corruption,,,sasabihin natin tradition na yan,,,, normal lang yan..ganun talaga... susuhol ka sa mga government employees tapos magcocomplain about corruption....we are infested with hypocrites...

the leader, is just one factor...however, we should all blame ourselves for allowing our country to be infested with greed and our values impoverished by self interests.
