Personally, I wouldn't recommend having a long-distance relationship. Not that I'm saying it will never work coz there are some who does.But I prefer to experience everyday life with my loved one. It is better to face the day together whether its good or bad. There is a saying two heads are better than one. So long distance relationship..does it work?..i'm not sure....it depends on how long will it take and if commitment is not a problem..

Agree!

I've already experienced long distance relationship but nothing happened. Malau eh, ala tayong maga2wa f dy want to do experiment something. Anyone have personals needs and they want someone to suffice their needs, So they will look for another as a substitute for there partner.

It would be tough...to have a relationship with someone by your side is already tough, how much more if you have to content yourself with mails and calls alone diba?

depende, nameet mo ba before? as in you shared a relationship with him before pa xa nagflysung to a country of milk and honey or country of sheep and camel? haha! FOUNDATION sa relationship is very important, oiliness is next to ugliness ika nga, hahaha! seriously though, kahit saang relasyon, yan ang importante,kahit sa bahay hindi ba, ang pundasyon ang importante, if the foundation is weak, it would be very easy to tear it down...

kasi if you just met him online and dun nasimula ang let the love begin na drama ng buhay mo Rom, mejo weak pa ang foundation na yun, kung sa dalawang magkarelasyon nga eh, when they start living together that is the only time they actually know each other and sometimes, when they have decided to take a relationship to such a level, dun pa nagkakalabuan, dahil they actually start seeing the flaws, paano pa kung sa chat lang? or mails hindi ba? you only get to see or know the things na gusto niyang malaman mo, not the entire package...although you may feel swept off your feet, i advice you to think deep before falling too soon..

however if he only left for abroad and bf mo na or husband mo na, then it becomes your duty to find ways to make it work,

this relationship is tough, but it could work...if both parties are willing

im into this situation...d key s a deep emotional connection, trust, & frequent communication.
we r hundred miles away, i cannot observe my man. i just hold on to the things we build together n times we had..sobra akong selosa pero iniisip ko nlang that jealousy s one of d most destructive emotions....trust & faith will hold our love that someday we will b together....hoping ('-')

long distance relationship is never easy..
it works to some people but never worked to others..
i've seen such relationship and never last.

i don't believe in getting involve with people that you've never seen or met in person..
it is important to know him in person and know his intentions..
trust doesn't happen over night..
it is something that you have to invest and build for quite sometime.

i never believed in long distance relationship..

until one day, i met this guy..
got to know each other with his family for sometime..
something clicked..felt like magic! hehe
sounds corny but it's true.

we parted and lived half the world far from each other..
on constant communication.. (always remember communication is a two-way process)
never realized that it will last.

days gone by..
we've decided to meet up again..
this time.. it was different..
can't believe to see him with my family..
introduced himself and said his intentions..

at that time..
that made me change to try long distance relationship.

no harm in trying..
stay open.. lightning could strike!
hehe

never meant to be easy..
never smooth sailing trip through life..
we're aware that no, nothing is perfect..
but then again, we have the chance and ability to make things work and last.
we are still on and hoping for a happy ending..

the best part..
he'll pay for your plane ticket, shopping and fancy restaurants.. hehe

everyone hopes to find one true love..
i would never recommend long distance relationship..
but do the best you can.

wow, Miss Helen is now a story teller...i like it! hmm...it is a cliche, but it is very true, "if there is a will there is a way"...if you really want to make things work, then it will, never underestimate the power of " WILL" God Bless your relationship Miss Helen and to all who are in the same situation! we are both in the same situation ate and u're ryt that the key is a deep emotional connection, trust and frequent communication... though sometimes i feel scared of wat will happened nxt i just rely on to GOD because he is the center of our relationship... evry plans we have in mind we always ask his guidance... minsan ngka2ron ng misunderstanding but we do make sure that we settled it all during the day mhirap kc pgtagalin dhil nga mgkalayo kmi and another thing u shud have an open relationship meaning no secrets kung ano ngya2ri d2 dapat alam nya and vice versa.

we all know most stories of such relationship never last..
always a tragic ending.

on the other hand..
there is also a bright side.
