Are you New to MyPinoy?... Been a member for a while now, but
looking to get the most out of MyPinoy network?... Then scroll down
to see how it goes. Below is a breakdown of many features offered
to members of MyPinoy Network and instructions on how to get active
in the community.



The Forum section allows you to start new discussions or get
involved in other discussions created by members of MyPinoy. It's a
good way to communicate and share your thoughts on different things
like Politics, Romance, Spirituality, Food..etc.You can ask for an
advise from members, discuss your blogs and advertise your
business.

When you visit the Forums page you can start a new
discussion by clicking on the
"Start a New Discussion" link. Give your Discussion a title,
select an appropriate category, tag it (tags are short
descriptions) and then write your post. You can even add files by
attaching them to the post.

If you want to join an ongoing discussion just click on the topic
and post your reply.

Forums are a great way to get to know other members on the network.
To learn more about a member click on their name to view their
personal profile page.

Using MP Chatterbox is fun and easy. Whether you want to chat with
friends, post a shout-out or simply say hello. Just follow the
steps below:

You will need a registered name to post. First click in the
"name" box and enter the name you want to use. Then
click "profile" and register your name with a
password. You can then enter a message and click GO
to post. Click "profile" again to log out or to log in on your next
visit.

Those who are already registered can start chatting once
logged-in.

To post an avatar image with your messages, first upload your
chosen image to the web. You may use an image hosting service or
your own webspace. Then paste the URL of the image into the
"email / url" box and post your
message.

Only you have an access to your password. If you forgot your
password and would like to use the same user name, please send a
message to TET.

MyPinoy makes it easy to stay in touch with your friends and
family.

Have your friends and family join the network by clicking the link
Invite or
on the MENU TAB above..

You can manually enter in the email addresses of those you would
like to invite or import e-mail address from Yahoo, Hotmail, GMail
or AOL Mail or even from the address book on your computer like
Microsoft Outlook, Apple Address Book, .CSV, etc.

Whether you want to to see what other users have posted or if you
want to upload your own photos and share with your
friends.

You can upload photos from your computer, mobile phone, or Flickr
account

Each photo may be up to 10MB in size, but smaller photos will
upload faster. We support photos in the .jpg, .gif and .png file
formats.

Once you upload your photos you can add comments, ratings, tags,
locations, favorites or share them via email.

You can post individual photos or create, organize, and view albums
of your favorite shots.

You can view all photos on MyPinoy network individually or as a
slideshow and can sort them by the most recent, highest rated or
most popular.

Click on the Videos link
to see what other users have posted or upload your own videos to
share with the world.

You can upload videos from your computer, mobile phone, or any
video service on the web by clicking Add your own video
link.

To add from your computer, click on the "Browse" button and then
locate the file from your computer. Once you have chosen your video
click "Add Video" and it should be uploaded to the network. (Files
must be 100MB or smaller. MyPinoy supports .mov, .mpg, .avi, .3gp
and .wmv file formats.)

You can also embed videos from other video sites like YouTube by
pasting the 'embed' code supplied on the page the video is shown.

Once you upload your video you can add comments, ratings, tags,
locations, favorites or share them via email.

You can view videos on MyPinoy network by the most recent, highest
rated or most popular.

GROUPS
Want to create your own group or join others? This is a great way
to communicate with members of the group in one easy spot. Click on
the "Add a
Group" button or search through the current list of groups to
get started.

Give your Group a name, image, description and set your privacy
settings. When you are done a Group Web Address is created, which
allows you direct access to your groups site from the web. Just
type the link in your browser and go.

Once your group is set up you can keep everyone up to date by
sending out group only messages, invite new members to join and
start discussions that are exclusive to your group.

RSS FEEDS
What is an RSS Feed you ask? Well an RSS document, which is called
a "feed", "web feed", or "channel", contains either a summary of
content from an associated web site or the full text. RSS makes it
possible for people to keep up with their favorite web sites like
MyPinoy, in an automated
manner that's easier than checking them manually. So click on the
RSS icon in the discussions or blogs sections to subscribe to those
feeds and stay up to date with the latest happenings in
MyPinoy.

MY PAGE
It's your area in MyPinoy where you can experiment and get
creative. You can customize it however you see fit. Change the
appearance, add photos, music, manage your blog, update your
profile, +add
applications, manage friends and add comments. For those who
are familiar with CSS, you can change your page by clicking
"Settings"- -"Appearance", then click Edit Appearance
Page link. This page is all about you!
